Lisa Stephan Lisa resides in Plymouth, WI with her husband, Matt and son Michael. She also has two adult daughters, Kyanne and Jade. Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lakeland College with a major in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Social Welfare. She later went on to receive her Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Higher Education from Lakeland College. She is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas in Elkhart Lake. Lisa loves to spend time with her family, cooking, raising miniature schnauzers, playing cards and traveling. She believes that our God-given talents and treasures should be shared with others through servant leadership to positively impact those in our community. |

Kathy Skipper Kathy Skipper is a mother of two adult children – her son Paul lives out west and her daughter Brooke who is always on the move to her next destination. Kathy lives with her dog Jasper. Kathy has lived in four different states and has spent most of her life working for nonprofits in business/financial administrative positions. Kathy has many years of experience working with children and helping people who are in need. She has volunteered in several different communities. While she lived in Baraboo Wisconsin, she volunteered and was a board member for the Sauk County Giving Tree. Helping people out is something Kathy is very passionate about. Kathy’s favorite thing is spending time with her children when they can all be together. She loves watching any and all Wisconsin sports and spending time with Jasper. Other hobbies Kathy enjoys include crafting, playing cards or dice, and just relaxing by watching a movie or reading a good book. |

Maria Camara Maria graduated from UW-Milwaukee in December of 2009 with a BFA in visual art and dance. In January of 2017, Maria travelled to Guinea, West Africa, to further her study of West African dance and culture. Upon her return, Maria began working at SCIO as the Farmers Market Manager for the entirety of the 2017 season. Life-changing events led Maria back to Guinea in 2018 and away from her position at SCIO. In May of 2019, Maria returned to SCIO to begin work again with the Farmers Market. She is very happy to be back in the Sheboygan community where she resides with her husband, Salia. In addition to the Farmers Market, Maria dances with Nafaya, the African Drum & Dance Company in Sheboygan, and is an active member in the Sheboygan arts community. |

Jessica Shircel Jessica Shircel is a mother of six children – two adult children and four still at home. Jessica has lived in Sheboygan her whole life and has lived experience with the Bridgeway and Beyond program. Jessica has overcome various traumas and obstacles in life. As a long time advocate of the Farmers Market, Jessica now provides administrative support and operation assistance on site at the SCIO market. In her free time, Jessica enjoys listening to music and playing outside with her children. Jessica is looking forward to becoming a grandma in the summer of 2024! |

Claudette Brandell “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Claudette is a native of Sheboygan but has also lived in Alaska. She loves living by the lake and takes advantage of the many places to hike nearby. She is mom to three daughters- two who are living and one who has passed on. Claudette intimately understands grief and the trauma that accompanies losing a child as well as the challenges one faces as a result of that loss. She is also a loving grandmother to five grandchildren and thoroughly enjoys everything about being a “gamma”.
Claudette graduated from Lakeland College with Psychology and Criminal Justice degrees. Helping others, especially women and children, has always been her motivation and passion. After the loss of her daughter, she took a break from the social service world to focus on her healing journey. She recently returned to Bridgeway part time to continue working with homeless mothers and their children.

Lorrie Ruiz Lorrie resides in Sheboygan with her husband. She is a mother to four grown children and three grandsons. Lorrie worked in the Social Service field for over 30 years. She was the founder of the Stars Program which was a program for at-risk girls in Sheboygan County. She facilitated that program for over 20 years. Lorrie also mentored young mom’s with parenting skills as well as assisted them reunify with their children.
Lorrie’s passion has always been assisting young women reach their full potential. Lorrie has helped hundreds, if not thousands, of women in Sheboygan County throughout the years. Lorrie’s compassionate heart and kind spirit has been a blessing for the Bridgeway families.

Rhie Lorenz Rhie Lorenz is the mother of four grown children and four growing grandchildren, all of whom have shaped her life immeasurably. Rhie has worked as an advocate in the lives of individuals in her community since 2003. Her unique background and life experiences bring an understanding and compassion to the work she does in her professional life with SCIO as a Program Assistant in Bridgeway. In addition to this work, she is also a Reproductive Advocate in her own long standing business as a Doula, Breastfeeding and Childbirth educator and student midwife. |

Stenisha Bowen Stenisha was born and raised in Milwaukee, and graduated from Lakeland University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is now enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in the Masters of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Developmental Psychology program. With this degree, Stenisha has high hopes of becoming a school counselor for students in low income areas. In the far future, Stenisha has plans of operating an after school facility for children. In her free time, Stenisha likes to go home to see family and friends, hang out with her cat, cook, and shop. |
